A short summary of how we contract for work. Your signed agreement is the governing document.
Scope of work
Every engagement runs against a written specification. The scope in that document, and the fixed price attached to it, is what we are contracted to deliver. Changes are priced separately and require your signature.
Ownership
You own the result: schema, code and data. Export is available in open formats at any point, without an exit fee.
Service commitments
Availability, latency and support response commitments are stated in your contract. Where we publish a number on this site, it is the number we are prepared to write into it.
Fees and renewal
Fees are billed in CAD or USD as stated in the contract and are fixed for the term. Any renewal uplift requires your signature.
Confidentiality
Material you share while scoping a project is treated as confidential and used only to prepare and deliver the work.
